About Me

Welcome to my website! I am a public historian of the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands and Latinx History, broadly defined. My research focuses on the relationship between U.S.-Mexico immigration policy and the informal economy in California's Imperial-Mexicali Valley across the twentieth century. I utilize oral, public, and digital methodologies to uncover Latinx histories that have often been overlooked in traditional historical narratives. I am passionate about historic preservation and equity work in higher education. Navigate my website to learn more about my work and research!
