About Me
Welcome to my website! I am a Research and Policy Analyst with the UFW Foundation (funded by the ACLS Leading Edge Fellowship) and an adjunct at SDSU-Imperial Valley.
I am a public historian of the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands and Latinx History, broadly defined. My research focuses on the relationship between U.S.-Mexico immigration policy and the informal economy in California's Imperial-Mexicali Valley across the twentieth century. I utilize oral, public, and digital methodologies to uncover Latinx histories that have often been overlooked in traditional historical narratives.
